The livestock are never given any antibiotics, including before birth. There is no inspection process to verify this label before it is produced.
“Non-GMO verified” feed must be comprised of 0.09% or less of genetically modified crops. Verification is required for this label.
In order to be considered “Organic,” livestock must be fed not just a vegetarian diet, but a diet that does not include any genetically modified ingredients. Antibiotics cannot be used other than for medical reasons. The drug-free rule kicks in the day after the shell breaks open, making it okay to provide antibiotics during the first day of life.
We run our whole corn through a roller mill, and we are able to set the grind size to whatever specific micron the customer suggests.
Our feed is soybean meal and corn-based. It is mashed instead of crumbled.
